Job Description
The 2nd Assistant Golf Professional will help run day-to-day operations at Sheboygan Town and Country Club and will oversee all golf operations in the absence of the Head Golf Professional and 1st Assistant Golf Professional. To be successful in this role a candidate will need to have excellent customer service skills as well as a high attention to detail and operational standards. Additionally, the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings, and holidays is vital. This position is ideal for someone looking to learn more about the golf industry.
Experience Required
1-2 years of golf operations experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
Essential Responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests in accordance with club standards
• Operate POS to check in golfers as well as take tee times
• Supervise and train Outside Service staff as directed by Head Golf Professional
• Ensure the Outside Service Staff are executing service and cleanliness standards
• Assist the Head Golf Professional with event operations
• Assist with golf clinics in accordance with club standards
• Provide club fitting services in accordance with club standards
• Club regripping and repair in accordance with club standards
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times
• Playing and practice facility privileges
• Shop and restaurant discount
• Potential lesson revenue if qualified
