The Golfers Club @ T&C is a golfing club that conducts regularly scheduled golf outings at the Town & Country golf course throughout the golfing season.  The club is open to both males and females - it is not a men's club.  We are also a golfing organization that sponsors junior golf and an annual scholarship award for a deserving area youth.

  1. Match Play - members are grouped into flights by ability (USGA handicap).  Play is head-to-head against a player of similar ability in an 18-hole match, with the winner of a match advancing to the next round.  Play continues throughout the season, with one winner in each flight.  $600.00 in prizes is awarded at the end of the season.
  2. ·Mexican Best Ball - foursomes are grouped by the club so all groups are evenly matched for this 18-hole event.  Each player hits a tee shot, with the best shot selected.  Each player then hits from the selected spot.  This is repeated until a ball is holed, one score is recorded for the team.  $400.00 in prizes is awarded at the end of the event at a Mexican buffet at the golf course.
  3. ·Medal Play (Club Championship)- this 36-hole event is stroke play with four flights based on handicap.  $600.00 in prizes is awarded at the end of the event.
  4. ·T&C Cup - This is a Ryder cup style format where a 12-person club team, with handicap, competes against a 4-person team from the Pro Shop.  There is a 2-person best ball, 2-person alternate shot, 2-person scramble and single matches.  A traveling trophy is awarded to the winning team at an awards banquet.
  5. 6-6-6 Event - This is a 2-person format playing 6 holes of scotch, 6 holes of best-ball and 6 holes of scramble.
  6. Scotch Couples Events - This is a 9-hole social event where a member golfs with their spouse or significant other.  Two of these events are normally scheduled each season.  The event includes "guess your score", and concludes with the awarding of various prizes and a dinner.
  7. Hole-in-One Club - Each member is eligible to join this special event for an additional fee of $30.00; one-half of the fee is used to defray the cost of the Hole-in-One club awards banquet.  Cash prizes are awarded based on number of participants and the number of holes-in-one made for the year.
  8. Road Trip Event - Each year the club schedules an outing to another golf course, typically out of town.  $150.00 in prizes is awarded at the end of the event.
  9. Awards Banquet - This is an end-of-year social event beginning with cocktails and a social hour, followed by dinner and an awards banquet.  Spouses and significant others are welcome to attend the entire ceremonies.  The club contributes $350.00 towards the cost of this final event of the season.
  10. Spanferkel Tournament - This annual 18-hole event is open to foursomes.  Event includes individual and team prizes, as well as hole prizes and betting holes to test your skill and luck.  This event is the clubs major fund raiser for the annual scholarship award for a deserving youth in Sheboygan county.

For more information, or a membership application, contact Mike Klee at 920-458-7887 (or email mkklee@charter.net), or contact any of the professionals at the Town & Country golf shop.  If you enjoy golfing, enjoy organized and handicapped events and like to meet other golfers consider joining The Golfers Club @ T&C.
